Brenna Fender offers a Book Review: Practice Makes Perfect.... Not!!!!
by Rachel Tabor Flatley
Posted Date: December 18, 2007
Flatley's book is subtitled A Guide to Enhance Your Training Time and reads more like a casual conversation than an educational book. At only 52 pages, it's a quick read for competitors who are short on time. The book explains how to get the most out of your practice time by planning properly, using rewards effectively, and various other troubleshooting techniques. Also included is an appendix on dog body language. The book contains many photos that further enhance the topics discussed.

Brenna Fender is a freelance writer with an undergraduate degree in mass communications and a masters degree in elementary education. Her work is often featured in "Clean Run" magazine.

Although the book may provide maximum benefit to beginning and intermediate agility students, old-timers are likely to learn new information as well. To order Practice Makes Perfect....Not!!!! contact Rachel at rachel@pawsitivelyfundogtraining.com
