Agility Students WOW! You guys are THE BEST!! Thanks from the bottom of my heart for your congratulatory ad to Arrow and myself in Clean Run!! What a great surprise! Special thanks to Shelley for organizing this which, I know from personal experience, can be a bit of a challenge. Thank you to Karen Powers for designing the ad multiple times and to Sara Norman for her hard work trying to convert the ad into a format Clean Run could use. Thanks to all of you for making this happen! WOW! This is really, really cool!!!!!! I have attached a copy of the ad for those of you who do not get Clean Run magazine.....as you open the ad the background that pops up is a photo I shot in Boca Grande when I was walking the beach with Arrow. I happened to see our footprints side by side in the sand and I remember thinking "here's the partner I want to walk through life with." Cheers to all of you and your special partners! May your paths together in life be lengthy and always side by side. Love and Licks, Rachel and Arrow

Agility Students Barb's brag at the 10/25/09 CPE Trial. This was Standard Level 2 and jumping at 12". Elvis Q'd in all 4 classes with 2 firsts and 2 seconds. His time in his last class... Wildcard... which is a discrimination class was outstanding. I really can't keep up with him! We're so proud of our little guy.

Students This is the way to kick off 2009!
At the Tailwaggers January 2, 3, and 4 AKC agility trial Rachel enjoyed success with (l to r) Arrow, Ringo, Scorch and Partner. We had a great three days - even on the day when I showed all 4 dogs! Counting the "new title" ribbons, my dogs brought home 15 rosettes (plus the 12 green Q ribbons). Ringo's ribbons added icing to the cake.
Arrow was the star for sure. So far her preferred novice career is 8 Q's in 9 runs. At this show she ran 6 times and Q'ed 5 times. That was three 1st place ribbons on Friday and two 2nd place ribbons on Sunday (she was definitely still feeling tired from Friday). Unfortunately she missed her dogwalk contact in her last run or she'd have been 9 Q's for 9 runs and we'd have completed 3 titles.... I guess we'll have to settle for finishing 2 titles! She had a ball, but cut her foot pretty badly in her next to last run. I am hoping that heals quickly and does not impact our OTCH efforts on 1/17/09 and 1/18/09.
Partner had a blast. He showed two days and came home with 4 Q's in 6 runs - three 1st place ribbons and one 3rd place. Despite an injury, Scorch won novice FAST in 2 of his three runs in that class to complete his title and he Q'ed and placed third in Open Standard.
Ringo did very well in Novice FAST. Distance work has never been his area of expertise and this was his first time in FAST, so we were really proud to see get 2 Q's in three runs, placing second both times - only to me with Scorch. Beating yourself stinks!
